So I thought I should write a review! Adam is great! He’s a super nice and calm person to talk to. He’s very helpful in diagnosing battery issues and giving advice. I live in Santa Cruz and getting my car over the mountain with the hybrid battery disabled was difficult, so having the mobile repair option made this a lot less stressful this time. They do charge extra for mobile repair and prefer you bring your car to the shop if possible. But depending on your situation, it might be worth it. And lastly, I think they have the best prices for hybrid batteries in this area! read less

Our catalytic converter was stolen and after we got it fixed, the car wouldn't start. Our mechanic asked around and was told the big hybrid battery was dead. So he referred us to Prius Hybrid Battery of SJ. We got a quote from the dealer, which was $600 over their price. Since these people specialize in Prius battery and their price is much more affordable, we decided to go with Prius Hybrid Battery of SJ to replace the hybrid battery for us. And we are so glad! We wrote them a check and our mechanic handed it to him. The next day Adam called us back to tell us that the good news is our hybrid battery is actually fine! The car wouldn't start due to the 12V battery being shocked and blown fuse. We were pleasantly surprised because Adam was so honest with us. Our mechanic got other people to look at the car, and they all told him it was definitely the hybrid battery since the car is ~150k miles and the hybrid battery needs to be replaced around then. So we highly recommend this company for Prius battery issues because of their great integrity, quick responsiveness, and skillful diagnosis and work. We will definitely go back to them for any Prius battery issues. read less

I drove my Prius there yesterday 9/28/21 from Salinas (nobody in this area fixed HV batteries) and was expecting to pick it up the next day. I went and ate nearby while waiting for my ride to pick me up. I received a call from them as I was about to leave expecting to hear bad news about my car, but they had in fact finished replacing the cells in my battery within a few hours. It is always bad news when you get a bunch of warning lights on your dashboard and you take it... read moreIt is always bad news when you get a bunch of warning lights on your dashboard and you take it to the dealership and find out it costs $4,650 to get your battery replaced. I have been driving my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid for 11 years with 167,000 miles. Unfortunately, warranty only covers the batter for 10 years at 150,000 miles.Honestly, I was thinking about selling my car because the value of the car is only about $7,000 or less. Luckily, with a little bit of research, I found out you can repair the battery instead of replacing it with a brand new one. I found Prius Hybrid Battery of San Jose and contacted Faraj on Thursday and he came to my house on Sunday. For about 1/4 of the cost of repair at the Fremont Toyota, I got a refurbished replacement from Faraj for 6 months and 10k miles warranty. If the battery can last me another 5 years or 50k miles, I would be extremely happy.Faraj was responsive and contacted me through text. He is friendly, sincere, and professional. I test drove my car before paying him. The car used to accelerate hesitantly and the battery wouldn't charge according to my battery info screen. The test drive after the battery installment was smooth like before and the battery info screen showed the charging motion and the battery charged to green after about 10 mins of driving. I am extremely satisfied with the repair. Hopefully the repair will last me a lot longer than the warranty states. read less

I have a 2006 Prius and it was displaying the red triangle (hybrid battery failing indicator) on the dash. After some research I decided leave my car in the hands of Faraj, and I was not disappointed. At every step of the repair, Faraj demonstrated the utmost honesty, integrity, professionalism, and was extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and took great car of my car. He replaced my hybrid battery with a new aftermarket one that comes with a 3 year warranty and returned my car clean and ready to go.
