So this is my second visit to the shop since my car was giving me death triangle signs so I... read moreSo this is my second visit to the shop since my car was giving me death triangle signs so I thought it’s my hybrid battery problem so this guy Adam (ez) did the diagnostics and told me it’s not the battery its the problem with my engine oil it was low and due to that I was getting the death triangle signals I really respect his honesty towards his work he is the best person I’ve ever met in car repair industry had it been someone else would have definitely conned me on top of that I got lucky when I told him about my catalytic converter being stolen and he told me they do install catalytic shields and with no pressure sale I asked him to show the shield they install I must say it’s better than what you get from Toyota service center or after market and lot cheaper almost half the price I am uploading pictures for reference .Adam (ez) you rock bro keep doing great work with your honest ethics and you will go miles away in your life god bless you thanks again read less

I was in desperate need of a hybrid battery replacement and Faraj offered me straightforward information and educated me on the entire replacement battery process so that I could make an informed decision. Prior to arriving at the shop, my Prius failed on the highway. I called Faraj to let him know of the situation and he asked for my location, he was not far from me and came to help me out. He checked out my Prius and made so that I could drive another ~24 or so miles to his shop. Going to the dealer to get your hybrid battery fixed can be close to $3,000. When i saw on here about this place i immediately called Faraj and asked about the service he explained everything and i gave myself some time to think. He texted me with all the info and i decided to give them a try. I called him to ask if he could get me in Same Day and he said bring it in!!! I drove from Fresno to Stockton and waited at a parking lot. At first i thought it was kind of sketchy but then his son arrived and had great energy. He explained what he was going to do and started working. He literally took 35 min to swap a good battery w the bad one. Then after that Faraj arrived w a written contract about the warranty. It was a very easy and safe process. And will be definitely going back to them for any hybrid issues! They even gave me tips on keeping the hybrid battery good by charging it while in traffic! I drove my Prius there yesterday 9/28/21 from Salinas (nobody in this area fixed HV batteries) and was expecting to pick it up the next day. I went and ate nearby while waiting for my ride to pick me up. I received a call from them as I was about to leave expecting to hear bad news about my car, but they had in fact finished replacing the cells in my battery within a few hours. The car ran amazingly on my way home, and definitely recommend them for your hybrid cars. I definitely will be back for future service on my 2004 Prius. Thanks for bringing my car back to life. Thus by far the best service I’ve ever received from any auto repair business. I brought in a 2016 Toyota Prius with 228k miles on it the team had never seen a Prius this new with that many miles in it. However I was in need of a total engine replacement. Adam and his team of experts made me feel at ease and explained the process from start to finish. The engine is typical Toyota--very reliable, works great, and we've done only basic maintenance on it through the years. A couple of years before, I had researched replacement batteries, refurbished, etc. in the eventual time that the battery will die.When our battery finally died early February 2019, we went through the "what should we buy process" and ultimately decided that we didn't want a second new car payment, and because the kids would be getting their licenses within the next couple of years, we didn't want an ultra cheap car for simply going to/from BART car. At that point we were looking at safe, reliable, soon to be high schooler used later model cars in the $12-17K range. After a couple days of looking at used car websites, rental car websites, Carvana, dealers, consumer reports, etc. etc., I got frustrated and took a fresh look at replacing the battery. (Our mechanic recommended not using a refurbished battery and also did not reco a brand new Toyota factory battery at $4-5-6K).I googled "Toyota prius replacement refurbished battery" (or something like that). I got a few listings for SF Bay Area garages. I checked out about 3-4 websites along with Google and Yelp reviews. In the reviews for "PriusHybridBatteryOfSanJose.com"--they were 5 stars, but more importantly a lot of the reviews were consistent and spoke of Faraj's customer service, his honesty, his upfront way of doing business, how the process is done, and how efficient / quick and easy it was to complete the job...and in the comfort of my own driveway (like the Safelite Windshield replacement people). And of course, the low price (a little over $1000) because I opted for the 1 year warranty (he's got 3 and 6 month warranties for significantly less cost). It's been almost 2 months (replaced Feb 5, 2019) and the car is running just fine. All the dashboard lights are off. With the 1-year replacement warranty, I know I can guarantee another year's life in my little Prius (for about $90/month vs. getting a rental car, or new used car, or Lyft rides). And if it goes an extra 1-2 more years beyond, that's just gravy and I'll just call Faraj again.I highly recommend Faraj and his son. We took my daughter's 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid into them after two Ford dealerships failed to diagnose a wrench light issue that sometimes resulted in a forced "pull over now" message on the dash. The car would then be inoperable for a short period until it was restarted after a short wait. In each case, the dealer's mechanics said they couldn't diagnose it unless the problem was occurring in front of them at that moment. One dealer said that if they had the car for a few weeks that they might be able to do something. Adam was able to drive it and record the problem in one day. The diagnosis was a relatively inexpensive blend door motor that directs air over the battery to cool it. The fix has solved the problem after we lived through the pain for months. We are very glad that we brought it in and saved a lot of money versus the dealer. They really have good hybrid knowledge, even more than the dealer that is supposed to back the car.
