When we mistakenly believed our refurbished battery was on the fritz, we asked Faraj and his team to come back to our home in the East Bay. He diagnosed the real problem, and helped us remedy it - even though the issue had nothing to do with the HV battery. He was extremely helpful, he performed a free diagnostic and walked with me through every step of what the issue was & what would be our solution. All my engine lights were turned on on my dashboard and the car was no longer running. Adam and Farraj provided me with excellent customer service. They made sure to perform their best professional labor, my car was supposed to be ready in 3 days but they had my car ready by the next day! So I thought I should write a review! Adam is great! He’s a super nice and calm person to talk to. He’s very helpful in diagnosing battery issues and giving advice. I live in Santa Cruz and getting my car over the mountain with the hybrid battery disabled was difficult, so having the mobile repair option made this a lot less stressful this time. They do charge extra for mobile repair and prefer you bring your car to the shop if possible. But depending on your situation, it might be worth it. And lastly, I think they have the best prices for hybrid batteries in this area! read less

The gentleman that took care of me provided me with the quote that I requested, and went beyond that! He provided me valid guidance as to what's needed (vs the add-ons from the leadership) and tapped up my Priu's cooling system fluids, since the dealer did not tapped the fluids ( I just picked my car from maintenance at the dealership )In the past, I brought my car to this shop to put the catalytic converter guard, and the experience was excellent. I plan to have my car serviced here for the required maintenance on my Prius, instead of going to the leadership.Based on my past experience and today's experience, the staff at Hybrid Experts are awesome! read less

Our catalytic converter was stolen and after we got it fixed, the car wouldn't start. Our mechanic asked around and was told the big hybrid battery was dead. So he referred us to Prius Hybrid Battery of SJ. We got a quote from the dealer, which was $600 over their price. Since these people specialize in Prius battery and their price is much more affordable, we decided to go with Prius Hybrid Battery of SJ to replace the hybrid battery for us. And we are so glad! We wrote them a check and our mechanic handed it to him. The next day Adam called us back to tell us that the good news is our hybrid battery is actually fine! The car wouldn't start due to the 12V battery being shocked and blown fuse. We were pleasantly surprised because Adam was so honest with us. Our mechanic got other people to look at the car, and they all told him it was definitely the hybrid battery since the car is ~150k miles and the hybrid battery needs to be replaced around then. So we highly recommend this company for Prius battery issues because of their great integrity, quick responsiveness, and skillful diagnosis and work. We will definitely go back to them for any Prius battery issues. read less
